My name is Patuone Edwards.
I have been on this Musical journey for as long as I can remember, over 25 years ago I started playing drums with a family band when I was 14yrs of age. That is when my love and passion for music began. I have performed all over New Zealand and parts of Australia in festivals, Indigenous events, community events, pubs, clubs and resorts. My performances have been as a solo artist and as part of a group or band. I do a solo live performance using a few instruments such as the acoustic guitar, bass guitar, some shakers and a loop machine. Reinventing classic songs and a few original tracks. I also have a live performance that I do with my brother DJ Stylissh, we can have a collective in the range of music we choose to perform, catering to ages of young and old. I found at the age around 30 I wanted to give back to people who wanted to learn to play music, young or old people who wanted to learn basically. I came across a group of young teenagers that were having a few troubles in life and the decisions they were making, so I decided to offer learning music at the local basketball ball courts in Port Hedland W.A. I haven't stopped since that day. Probably never will. What gave me so much dedication and determination in helping these kids through music, was not only my ability and knowledge of a wide range of musical instruments, but what played a big part was "I COULD SEE MYSELF" in a lot of these kids, a little less fortunate, all the potential and little opportunity. So, without further ado I know I am at my best in my heart when I am able to give to our next generation some kind of knowledge in any shape or form and will never stop.
